Tree Branches

...snow refines them. And using contrast, saturation and brightness settings I refined them as well. I feel odd and manipulative, but am realizing that this is the norm in digital photography. "Painting with light" is how some photographers see their art, and as I take more and more pictures that statement increasingly resonates with me.

From Lonsdale Quay a few weeks ago

Even the gulls couldn't snap that lady outta her focused gaze.

I Red shoes, red backpack, red railings.

Cypress Creek?

I think that was the name of it.
Joel and I were there just over a week ago, in the woods of Cypress Mountain.
I was messing with the shutter speed so the water would have some "flow", and I kinda like how the colours came out in this one.

The water flowing at the bottom of this picture is what originally caught my eye on these crazy rounded out rocks.

Check out that little waterfall on the left. She's given'r.

Test, Test...

Microphone check mica microphone checka,
post number one all fun no games till I'm done.

I was hoping I'd have some framing options to pic posting, but behold I do not. This swampy forest is behind the dirt-jump park behind Port Kells Park. The green moss caught my attention.
